Meet Matthew C. Becker
Matthew grew up on a farm in rural Franklin County, Missouri and is a 1993 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. Prior to enrolling in law school, Matthew was a police officer.
Since 2007, Matthew has been practicing law in Franklin County (and the surrounding areas). He is a former Assistant Circuit Attorney for the Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time at the Circuit Attorney’s Office he spent most of his time on the Felony Trial Staff.
In addition to the trial experience of conducting and assisting in dozens of jury trials, Matthew has appellate experience in the Missouri Court of Appeals – Eastern District, as well as the Missouri Supreme Court.
Matthew received a Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems from Truman State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law. Matthew now focuses on civil litigation, domestic litigation (including paternity, divorce, modifications, child custody, and child support), personal injury, wrongful deaths, social security disability, landlord-tenant relations, criminal law, and traffic law.
